The
Minneapolis Riverfront District straddles the Mississippi where the river
winds through downtown. Combining the eastern side of downtown
with portions of the Northeast and Southeast neighborhoods, the Riverfront
is one of the most dynamic of Minneapolis’ districts.
The Riverfront surrounds historic St. Anthony Falls, the birthplace
of the city,
and
is home to some of Minneapolis’ greatest assets. Historic sites,
upscale dining, nightlife and outdoor recreation are packed into this
beautiful, stimulating area.
